Zomet Rashit is a collection of two pocket-sized books: “Zomet Rashit: Paths to important decisions and building a personal path” a coaching guide, and “Just Don’t Be a Sucker” a complementary article. This book set was inspired by the trivialization of modern coaching culture that surrounds us today, particularly on social media. The content of the guide is satirically crafted, mimicking instructions for “Signage Planning for Intercity Roads” from the State of Israel. The choice of this instruction manual stems from a “distorted” semantic field, where a personal journey can easily relate to a physical road.
The entire guide is written using artificial intelligence, and the visuals included come from the instruction manual, subtly suggesting to readers that they are part of a ruse. To make it even clearer for the average reader, the article “Just Don’t Be a Sucker” is included, indicating that if you haven’t realized you’re being joked with, the problem lies with you. In addition to the book set, an interactive pop-up ad interface was designed for the collection, which cannot be closed, further enhancing the playful commentary on the consumer experience.
